Background Information

This novel is based on historical records such as the Bible (the four Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, and all the messianic prophecies in the Old Testament), Flavius Josephus’s Antiquities of the Jews, and other additional sources. The psychology and interpersonal relationships of the characters have been creatively interpreted and reconstructed.

The author’s notes refer to a wide range of texts from throughout the Bible, including both the Old and New Testaments.

Bible Version Used

The chapters/episodes on this blog and the audiobooks on YouTube are based on the World English Bible (WEB). For certain sections—such as dialogues that are difficult to quote directly—the text has been slightly adapted for narrative flow, while carefully preserving the original meaning.

Important: The version of the chapter with a YouTube audiobook clip at the bottom is the final version. If there is no audiobook, the text is closer to a direct translation and has not been revised to match the WEB version.
