Sources and Guidelines

Background Information

This novel is based on historical records, including the Bible (the four Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, and all the messianic prophecies in the Old Testament), *Antiquities of the Jews* by Flavius Josephus, and other supplementary sources. The psychology and interpersonal relationships of the characters have been creatively interpreted and reimagined.

The author’s notes reference a broad range of texts from across the Bible, including both the Old and New Testaments.

Bible Version Used

The chapters and episodes on this blog, along with the audiobooks on YouTube, are based on the World English Bible (WEBBE). In certain sections—particularly dialogues that are challenging to quote directly—the text has been slightly adapted for narrative flow, while carefully maintaining the original meaning.

Important: The version of the chapter that includes a YouTube audiobook clip at the bottom is the final version. If there is no audiobook, the text is closer to a direct translation and has not yet been revised to align with the WEBBE version.
